Queen Elizabeth II waited one month after Prince Charles' November 1948 birth to christen him, and Prince William and Kate Middleton will do the same for their newborn son, Prince George Alexander Louis,
who was born July 22. The new parents, both 31, will follow tradition
when it comes to the baptism ceremony, christening gown and reception.

Unlike royal weddings, which are often state occasions, baptisms are
reserved for about 60 relatives and friends. At the half-hour liturgy,
the Archbishop of Canterbury will ask William, Middleton and the
godparents to gather around the 172-year-old baptismal Lily Font, filled
with holy water from the River Jordan. As the queen -- the Church of
England's Supreme Governor -- looks on, they'll affirm they'll raise the
child to follow Christ.
Then, the newborn will be anointed -- and serenaded with hymns.
Sixteen choristers from the Chapel Royal will sing at the service.

Since 1841, nearly every royal babe has worn the same lace-and-silk robe, first fashioned for Queen Victoria's son, the future King Edward VII.
But after it endured six generations of wear and tear, Queen Elizabeth
II commissioned a replica in 2008, which was used later that year for
her grandson James, the Viscount Severn.

Naturally, as the future sovereign of England, William and Kate's
child will don the original. Though the gown has been handed down, the
shoes are always new!
At the reception, Prince William and Middleton will serve the top
tier of their wedding cake, which they froze after their April 2011
wedding.

Bellino, it appears, is still holding a grudge.
After
employee Dora Charles told the New York Times that Paula Deen treated
her unfairly, the chef is firing back -- telling Entertainment Tonight
that Charles is "trying to cash in on the current situation"Credit: JB Lacroix/WireImage
Paula Deen is once again trying to defend herself. After her employee, Dora Charles, told the New York Times on July 25 that the Food Network chef treated her unfairly
and failed to live up to her promises of wealth in exchange for
loyalty, the embattled Southern chef's rep is firing back in response to
Charles' claims.
PHOTOS: Celeb chef scandals
In a statement to Us Weekly,
a spokesperson for Deen explained, "Ms. Charles' 'issue' is about
money, not race. She receives a salary of more than $70,000 per year,
plus profit sharing and benefits. For 20 years she has been paid a fair
wage for her work, but she feels she deserves even more money. She
claimed to be a friend of Paula Deen's but is now trying to cash in on
the current situation."
In the article, Charles, who is African-American, alleged that Deen,
66, used racial slurs and tried to exploit her black employees for show.
"I'm not trying to portray that she is a bad person," she said. "I'm
just trying to put my story out there that she didn't treat me fairly
and I was her soul sister."
PHOTOS: Southern stars
Charles' latest comments follow weeks of controversy surrounding the
chef. Since it was revealed in June that Deen had admitted in a
deposition to using the N-word in the past, she was fired by Food
Network and Smithfield Foods, and was dropped by a slew of endorsement
deals.
PHOTOS: Celeb foodies
On Wednesday, June 26, Deen first attempted to clear her name on the
TODAY show. "If there's anyone out there that has never said something
that they wish they could take back -- if you're out there, please pick
up that stone and throw it so hard at my head that it kills me," she
said through sobs. "Please, I want to meet you...I is what I is, and I'm
not changing."
People's Court Judge Marilyn Milian disrobed to sunbathe topless on a recent Caribbean beach vacation with her familyCredit: Jeffrey Mayer/WireImage.com
People's Court judge Marilyn Milian
deserves to let loose once in a while -- and she did just that on a
recent beach vacation with her family. Ditching her traditional judicial
robes and sunbathing topless in a pair of bikini bottoms, the outspoken
52-year-old showed just how comfortable she is in her own skin.
PHOTOS: Hollywood's hot bikini bodies
Per the New York Post, Milian was vacationing in the Caribbean with her husband, Florida Judge John Schlesinger. They were accompanied by their three daughters, Cristina, Alexandra, and Sofia.
PHOTOS: Stars' sexy swimsuit style
A former Florida state circuit court judge, Milian took over The People's Court
in 2001. She is the first female judge to preside over the long-running
show, and the first Latina to host a nationally syndicated TV court
program. Last September marked her 12th season on the show's bench,
making her one of the longest-serving judges in People's Court history.

"I was always a little too responsible," she told the New York Times in 2008 of becoming a lawyer at 23. "While my friends were dancing on tables, I was prosecuting first-degree murder cases."
With childhood flashbacks, touching family moments and boy-band bonding, One Direction fans are only a few weeks away from seeing the group as they've never seen them before in their upcoming 3-D movie, "This Is Us."
Yet,
there is one thing you won't be seeing during the film, and that is
Harry Styles' high-profile, yet short-lived romance with Taylor Swift, known as "Haylor."
Directioners Gush Over One Direction's 'This Is Us' Trailer
"It gets frustrating for them at times, because suddenly stuff gets printed that isn't even true," director Morgan Spurlock says in the September issue of Teen Vogue,
which features 1D on its cover. "I saw an article that said, 'Harry
Styles demands Taylor Swift be taken out of the movie.' But by the time
we started filming in January, they had already split up."
Spurlock's timeline seems to be correct. The brief romance heated up in December 2012 after Styles and Swift were photographed walking through New York's Central Park. Shortly following were trips to tattoo parlors, birthday cupcakes in Europe and their very public New Year's Eve kiss. Yet, the romance came to an abrupt halt just one week later, following what was reportedly a "heated argument" while vacationing in the British Virgin Islands.
Even
though there won't be any relationship drama on the big screen, there
will still be plenty to satisfy every single Directioner, according to "This Is Us" producer Ben Winston, who says One Direction's real-life story plays out "better than any fictional movie ever could."
"The
doc of what's happened to them over the last few years is more exciting
than any script writer could ever write or come up with," Winston said.
"So, therefore, you've already got a wonderful story that you're able
to tell. And Morgan and myself and all of the team have done a job of
portraying that really and showing who the boys are, what they've gone
through, both the ups and the downs, within that," he said.
"This Is Us" hits theaters August 30.
Rick Ross and DJ Khaled
have a bond that extends beyond the music. In fact, before Rozay was a
Maybach Music boss, he and Khaled worked their respective records on the
streets of Miami. But despite the pair's long history, even Ross was
surprised by Khaled's marriage proposal to Nicki Minaj.
"It was some chatter going around, but I can't say that I knew, but it was some chatter," Ross told Los Angeles' Power 106 host Rikki Martinez in a new segment that aired on Friday (July 26). "Time to sit that ass on his lap."
DJ Khaled Makes A Very Special Offer To Nicki Minaj
On
Thursday, Khaled asked MTV News to assist in the release of a special
video aimed directly at the Young Money cash queen, and it quickly went
viral. "Nicki Minaj, will you marry me?" the charismatic DJ asked,
looking directly into our cameras while holding up a 10-karat, radiant
cut diamond engagement ring valued at around $500,000.
Khaled's
name trended for hours afterward on Twitter as some fans wondered
whether the proposal was authentic. Did the "No New Friends" star really
want to put a ring on it? Ross told the radio station he believes his
buddy is all in. "He has a ring valued at about half-a-million dollars,"
Rozay reasoned.
The Maybach CEO went on to propose that if the
two actually do get hitched, he'll get them a car — though a Maybach may
be out of the question since the luxury vehicle went out of production
in 2012. "If they tie the knot, I have to most definitely represent like
a boss," he said.
For much of the past year, Miley Cyrus fans have had to make do with tiny peeks into the recording process for her upcoming album.
But
this fall will bring a much deeper dive into all things Miley, with a
revealing one-hour MTV documentary produced by the award-winning MTV
News and Docs team. The film follows Cyrus as she works on the album and
delves deep into the transformation she has experienced over the past
few years.
The show follows in the footsteps of similar
enlightening documentaries that have featured the likes of such
superstars as Lady Gaga, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Brittney Spears and most
recently, Demi Lovato.
Miley Cyrus Reflects On Her Image
Producer Pharrell, who gushed about Cyrus' Southern charm and hospitality
to MTV, has promised that the year of work he's put in with his "lil
sis" is just the start of even bigger things to come for Cyrus.
"It's
just gonna sound like her and her influences, but it's not that hip-hop
heavy," Pharrell said of the full body of work, which will include
features from Wiz Khalifa and maybe French Montana. "That's not what she does, that's not where she comes from. It's a part of what she loves, which is a very big difference."
The
biggest look we've gotten so far of the album is the Mike Will Made
It-produced tune "We Can't Stop," the twerk-tastic single that has blown
up the charts and launched countless memes, including the trippy, sound-less remix of the video.
"Like the song says, we can love who we want. I'm really free about the way I feel and who I am," Cyrus explained during a California media blitz
in June. "Of course, I want people to love my music, but it's like, at
the end of the day I make music for me. I make music 'cause I love it
and I know, like I said, I put good energy into it. I want to make this
song the biggest song in the world."
Amanda Bynes' lawyer has filed legal documents in Los Angeles asking
for an emergency hearing in a bid to release the troubled actress from
hospital.
The star,
who is allegedly suffering from a mental illness, is under a forced two
week hold which was approved by a judge on Thursday after she lit a
fire on the driveway of a stranger's home in the Thousand Oaks area of
Los Angeles on Monday night.
An emergency hearing will be held on
Friday on the psychiatric ward where the actress is staying and both a
judge and Amanda will be present, according to TMZ.
Splash
Amanda’s
parents Rick and Lynn backed the judge's decision to keep their
daughter under a 5150 hold for her own protection which will see her
stay in psychiatric care for at least two weeks after a judge ruled she
wasn't well enough to leave hospital.
Amanda’s lawyer had
previously argued an extension should be denied but doctors insisted
they needed at least two weeks to diagnose the former Disney star’s
illness.
A picture emerged of what is thought to be Amanda
arriving at a hospital in Los Angeles after being put under psych hold
by police officers.
The frail figure was covered in a sheet with her feet clad in hospital slippers.
Splash
Meanwhile Amanda Bynes’ parents are also set to head to court
to seek control over their daughters financial and personal affairs.
According
to Radar worried parents Lynn and Rick will have a hearing at Ventura
County courthouse on Friday to ask for temporary conservatorship of
their daughter.
A source said: “Rick and Lynn will appear before
the judge on Friday to ask for a temporary conservatorship of their
daughter, Amanda.
“Her parents will both be petitioning to be the
temporary proposed conservators, and want control of her personal and
financial affairs.”
Alpha
To grant conservatorship the proposed conservator must show
that the conservatee is is unable to care for themselves, and is a
danger to others,” a source told Radar about what Bynes’ parents will
face in their legal quest.
Rick and Lynn were pictured leaving a
Los Angeles hospital on Tuesday afternoon, looking strained - it is
believed they have taken custody of Amanda's dog.
Amanda, 27, who has repeatedly called her parents ugly on Twitter,
is currently under an involuntary psychiatric hold in Los Angeles after
allegedly sparking a small fire in a stranger’s driveway.
Her parents are absolutely sick with worry about their daughter,” a source told Radar.
“They
are now considering going to a judge and attempting to get a
conservatorship of Amanda. They have previously met with lawyers to
discuss the possibility of taking legal control of Amanda’s life. It’s a
truly devastating situation for Amanda’s parents and their biggest
concern is the health and safety of her.”
It is a mystery how troubled star Amanda made
it from New York to southern California where she allegedly sparked a
small fire in a stranger’s driveway before being taken away by cops and
put under psychiatric hold.
According to sources wig-loving Amanda
was forced to flee the big apple as she couldn’t find anywhere to live
and had run out of cash.
Amanda’s journey to Los Angeles has
worried pals who told Radar Online the star can’t drive and had no
available funds for a taxi.
Splash
As Amanda remains under 5150 psych hold after allegedly
setting fire to a driveway with a rag and a gas canister more details of
her increasingly bizarre behaviour emerge.
It is thought Amanda
returned to the Thousand Oaks area as her parents live nearby and some
of her cash earned as a child star is protected by them.
Meanwhile
eyewitness to the bizarre blaze allegedly caused by Amanda, Andrew
Liverpool, told E! Online how he was first on the scene and immediately
recognised the star – by her wig.
"I see this girl with her pant
leg on fire and a gas can trailing fire through the driveway It looked
like her. It sounded like her. She had a wig on," he said.
"I kicked the gas can over and moved it to the middle of the driveway so nothing else would catch on fire.
Splash
“She was kind of frantic and discombobulated, and many people
rushed over to try to assess the situation and when I looked back up,
she was gone."
Liverpool claimed Amanda tried to climb into a cab
in her charred jogging bottoms before she was taken away and placed
under an involuntary psych hold by police.
It is not thought that Amanda was arrested.
In
a recording obtained by TMZ, the caller can be heard saying: "It's a
very small fire, it's on a driveway... It's like a small piece of cloth
and a gasoline tank which is why I'm calling 911."
Continuing to
talk about the petrol tank, the caller added: "I don't know if there's a
lot of gasoline in it... No one's injured... It's decently close [to
the house], I would say about five feet, and there is a tiny little fire
in a crack which is right next to the grass."
Rex Features
Amanda, who was pictured looking disheveled while wearing her
infamous blonde wig while shopping in Malibu this week, is reportedly
under a 5150 hold - the law used to keep Britney Spears and Mischa
Barton on a mental health ward involuntarily for 72 hours in the past.
On
Tuesday, Captain Don Aguilar of the Ventura County Sheriff's Office
told US website Hollyscoop: "Deputies investigated the incident and
determined that she met the criteria of 5150 W&I (California Welfare
& Institutions Code). She was detained and taken for a mental
health evaluation."
This latest news
follows a number of worrying incidents involving the actress - on
Sunday the star was reportedly accused of appearing drunk and acting
erratically at a retirement community near Thousand Oaks.
Amanda
was apparently there to visit a relative but was asked to leave after
staff apparently thought she was trespassing, according to TMZ.
She
has also been pictured and filmed acting strangely while out and about
in New York and recently attended a court hearing after she allegedly
tossed a marijuana bong from the window of her 36th floor apartment.
Conrad Murray will be a free man in three months – less than two years after he was locked up for killing Michael Jackson.
The disgraced doctor, 60, gave the King of Pop a lethal dose of anaesthetic while he was treating him.
Reuters
He was convicted of involuntary manslaughter but will be
released on October 28, less than halfway through his four-year
sentence.
Murray’s early release has incensed Jackson’s mother Katherine, 83, and his devastated children, Paris, 15, Prince, 16, and Blanket, 11.
Insiders revealed the family felt the medic “should serve his time for the crime”.
Reuters
Katherine Jackson said: “It is not right I will never be able to see my son again, while his mother can see him.”
Murray has been in solitary confinement – but with a TV and a mobile phone in his cell – since he was jailed in November 2011.
Last
night a source close to the doctor said: “He has been a model inmate
and the authorities have granted him an early release due to that good
behaviour and the overcrowded California jail system.”
But a livid family source blasted: “Murray is the killer of Michael in their eyes. He cost them their son and father.
“For him to get out in two years is an insult. They still feel he should have been tried for murder.”
The family are furious with Murray after he refused to give evidence in their trial against concert firm AEG Live, which was promoting Jackson’s This Is It shows at London’s 02.
Getty
They feel that he has key evidence
to prove AEG acted negligently and contributed to the star’s death. But
this week Murray threatened to drop a “nuclear” bombshell of secret
information about the singer and his family if he was forced to testify.
It is claimed he wants nothing to do with the wrongful death lawsuit as he fears he could be incriminated.
Murray
was sentenced to four years at Los Angeles County prison after a
five-week trial, but has appealed to overturn his conviction.
Jacko died at his mansion in LA in June 2009 after being given a fatal dose of anaesthetic propofol.
It
was alleged that he begged Murray for the drugs, but Katherine said:
“Even though he asked for it, he could have said no.” She recently said
that hearing lies about her son was the most difficult thing she had
ever had to deal with.
Katherine is suing AEG for £26billion,
claiming the firm did not properly investigate Murray before employing
him, but AEG said the singer hired the doctor himself. AEG is trying to
prove the pop star was a drug addict.
Jackson was taking part in gruelling rehearsals for his This Is It comeback, but he died before the shows began.
The parents of Amanda Bynes claim she is a substance abuser who has spend $1.4m in a matter of months.
In court papers filed by Amanda's parents Rick and Lynn as part of an effort to get a temporary conservatorship over their daughter
they say the former child star
has become "extremely paranoid about being watched" and even tapes
windows shut in a bid to stop cameras from capturing pictures of her.
Amanda is also said to cover smoke alarms with towels and her parents now believe she is homeless.
Splash
In addition, it is claimed the actress as "profound issues with her
body image" and is "obsessed with the fact that she (and others) are
ugly", according to TMZ.
The former Disney star was thought to have had $4m in the bank but a
huge amount of money has allegedly vanished with $1.2m being spent in a
very short amount of time.
Amanda apparently withdrew $100,000 from her bank on June 4 and a
further $100,000 on July 2 and while her parents do not know what the
money was spent on, they believe she spent "a substantial amount" on
marijuana and other illegal substances.
Alpha
The star recently returned to Los Angeles from where she was living
in New York but how she traveled to the Californian city is a mystery
with Amanda telling her parents she "cabbed it".
The papers in which Amanda's bizarre behaviour is detailed were filed
as her parents are trying to get a temporary conservatorship of their
daughter in a bid to control her finances and certain personal areas of
her life.
The court denied the request for a conservatorship on Friday morning as the judge is said to want more information.
Amanda is currently in hospital and is on a psychiatric ward after she started a fire on the driveway of a stranger's home in the Thousand Oaks area of Los Angeles on Monday night.
Dan Neal has become the fifth person to be evicted from the Big Brother house.
The former policeman
and fellow housemates Sophie and Sam believed they were immune from
eviction as part of a twist but they were in fact the nominees who faced
eviction.
The news did not go down well with fellow contestant
Gina as she became tearful when it dawned on her one of her friends
would be leaving the reality show.
Speaking
to show host Emma Willis after leaving the house, Dan said: "I
suggested this might happen tonight, I knew I'd go when I was up against
those two."
Channel 5
Dan spoke highly of his fellow housemate Hazel and said controversial housemate Dexter was "mixed up but a nice guy".
He backed Gina to win the show but admitted he felt cheated after receiving the boot as part of the twist.
Dan is now expected to return home to Essex where he lives with his boyfriend.
Big Brother continues on Channel 5 on Saturday at 10pm.
The Spice Girls may well be in semi-retirement, but it’s good to see they are still alive and kicking... each other.
Scary Spice
Mel B appears to have reignited her feud with Victoria Beckham, apparently claiming she cannot dance “to save her life”.
She is said to have made her comments about Posh off air to fellow
America’s Got Talent judge Howard Stern, which he then repeated on
screen during filming. Oops.
Commenting on children’s
dance troupe, Fresh Faces, the 38-year-old singer praised the little
munchkins, saying: “You’re like the 2013 mini dancing Spice Girls
version. I absolutely, absolutely loved it.”
Getty
But Howard said: “That’s the problem. You do dance like the Spice
Girls. They weren’t the greatest dancers.” After Scary told the TV star
he would “get it at the next break”, Howard let slip: “You told me Posh
Spice couldn’t dance to save her life...”
As the live studio audience cheered and laughed, a panicking Mel, who
lives in LA, started waving her arms in the air, attempting to slap the
mischievous panellist.
Although Posh, 39, is keen to move on from the Spice Girls – and has made no secret of the fact she was never the world’s greatest singer
– she probably won’t appreciate any criticism coming from Scary.
The dig comes two years after the pair fell out when Mel asked to
borrow one of Posh’s designer gowns for reality show, It’s A Scary
World. When Victoria was unable to provide one in her size, all hell
broke loose.
Getty
Similarly, after announcing her latest pregnancy, Scary took to
Twitter to thank all the girls for their support. All the girls, that
is, except VB. She wrote: “Ahh big thanks to my spice girls mel c, geri
and emma for their baby well wishes! Love you! Xxxxx.” Ouch.
Seemingly unperturbed by her latest blunder, Mel yesterday had a guided tour of New York’s Empire State Building.
After performing triumphantly at last year’s Olympics, the Spices, meanwhile, have not ruled out one final fling.
In the words of Melanie C – aka Sporty Spice – “never say never”
Nigella Lawson has been comforted by Pierce Brosnan over her marriage split hell.
The TV cook and 007 star were spotted at a restaurant, six weeks after snaps of her being gripped round the throat by husband Charles Saatchi emerged.
One
diner said: “Nigella and Pierce seemed very happy to see one another
and were engrossed in conversation after sitting down together for a
chat.
"It was clear they both enjoyed the opportunity to share some time together.”
Tim Anderson
Both Nigella, 53, and 60-year-old Brosnan have suffered heartache in recent weeks.
Saatchi, 70, filed for divorce after she walked out over the pictures which seemed to show him trying to choke her at a London restaurant.
And the Bond actor’s daughter Charlotte died on June 28 from ovarian cancer at the age of 41.
But
both appeared to have a spark of happiness as they chatted warmly at
Italian restaurant Bocca di Lupo in Central London on Thursday,
according to the witness.
The diner added: “It was nice to see both of them being able to laugh and smile in public again.
"They are clearly great friends trying to get on with their lives.”
Getty
Saatchi was cautioned for assault over the choking incident.
He and Nigella – worth £150million – have agreed to a “swift and amicable” end to their 10-year marriage.
Neither will contest the divorce, which will become decree nisi on July 31.
Ian Vogler
Nigella had spent much of the time since the split staying with her sister Horatia at her home in Mayfair.
She has rarely stepped out in public.
She
is believed to have been friends with Brosnan for many years and the
pair regularly meet at showbusiness and charity functions.
His first wife Cassandra Harris, Charlotte’s mum, also died of ovarian cancer in 1991, aged 43.
Brosnan is now happily remarried to reporter Keely Shaye Smith.
They have two sons Dylan, 15, and 12-year-old Paris.
Brosnan was yesterday seen flying out of London’s Heathrow Airport.
Justin Bieber was last night under fire again after appearing to spit on his own fans from a hotel balcony.
Pictures published by US website TMZ showed the troubled teen star spitting from the top of his Toronto apartment.
Hordes of dedicated fans were gathered underneath his window.
The confused singer had only just put a video message on Instagram.
He
wrote next to a clip of delighted fans waving at him from below his
window - "I wake up this morning to this :0 Best fans in the wotrld.
#beliebers #sexyfans."
An Ohio DJ has also claimed the singer spat at him in a nightclub.
Addison
Ulhaq was performing at the Social Room in Columbus, Ohio on July 13
when the pop star's minders are said to have approached the disc jockey
on a number of occasions throughout the evening demanding he not take
pictures of the star.
He claims he did not take any photographs of Justin but says Justin used insulting language towards him.
Addison's lawyer states in the report Justin allegedly spat in the DJ's eye, nose and mouth.
In recent months he's had an altercation with a photographer, has fallen ill on stage and was even filmed urinating into a mop bucket.
But his grandmother has recently come to the defence of the controversial Canadian.
Diana Dale spoke out to defend her grandson
and has called for people to give him an easier ride as he's doing the
things a normal 19-year-old would do but Justin just happens to be in
the public eye.
WireImage
He has also been at the centre of a storm after urinating into a bucket while his mates filmed it.
Justin's
gran told Canada's CTV News Ottowa: "It's totally crazy. I feel sorry
for Justin all the time because paparazzi pick on him all the time.
"Anybody else's kids have done the same thing but nobody says anything."
Grandfather Bruce Dale added: "He's just a 19-year-old boy -
and before you criticise him, say, 'What is my 19-year-old boy doing?'"
